Update to the MongoDB Agent¶

If you need to update your legacy Agents to the MongoDB Agent, follow one of these scenarios to make the transition.

Update from all legacy Agents: Update from all self-managed and automated legacy Agents to the MongoDB Agent.
Update from the legacy Monitoring Agent: Update from your self-managed legacy Monitoring Agent to the MongoDB Agent.
Update from the legacy Backup and Monitoring Agents: Update from your self-managed legacy Backup and Monitoring Agents to the MongoDB Agent.
Update from Deployments with Managed and Unmanaged Agents: Update from the legacy Automation Agent with or without Automation-managed Backup and Monitoring Agents to the MongoDB Agent.
